Administrative and front-desk users can use this facility to send email and SMS text messages for these scenarios:
send to all users whose text message preference is set to "All" (Broadcast to All), e.g. some message of general interest to users
send to all users, regardless of their email/text message preference setting (Force Blast), e.g. some message of very high importance
send email/text messages to all users who have reservations during a specific timeframe (Broadcast to Reserved), e.g. to announce a rain delay
The system message settings above, result in these messages being displayed at the top of the main reservation screen, as well as on the bottom of the reservation confirmation emails.
